Curtis Dugas, DMD
Dr. Curtis Dugas, DMD, is a passionate and dedicated periodontist with roots in New Orleans, Louisiana. After completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018, he pursued a Periodontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2021. Dr. Dugas has been recognized for his exceptional achievements, including an NIH/NIDCR International Research Grant and multiple Company Grade Officer of the Year awards for his military and clinical excellence. Following his residency, Dr. Dugas served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and has even worked as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. Dugas’ commitment to advancing the field has led him to present dental research internationally, including in South Korea.
As an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the Florida Dental Association (FDA), Dr. Dugas stays current with the latest advancements in dental care through conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Dugas, alongside his wife Yoo Jin and their two daughters, Aria and Elliana, is dedicated to serving his community, both through his dental practice and philanthropic efforts with local non-profits. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, and playing music as a classically trained musician.
