Maryam Karo, DDS

Dr. Maryam Karo was born in Baghdad, Iraq, and has lived in Michigan and Indiana before settling in Florida, drawn by its natural beauty and warm climate. She earned her first dental degree in 2013 from Hawler Medical University in Iraq and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2023, where she received multiple awards for her leadership and contributions.

Dr. Karo is passionate about building trust with her patients and providing personalized care to improve their smiles and alleviate discomfort. She stays current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional memberships in the ADA and FDA.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Karo enjoys swimming, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. For her, dentistry isn’t just a job, it’s a way to make a positive impact on people's lives and she is so grateful for the opportunity to pursue this fulfilling career.
