Carlos Alvarez-Cuenod, DDS

Dr. Carlos E. Alvarez Cuenod grew up in Venezuela and has many fond memories of the country’s beauty and his childhood years. After completing dental school in Venezuela in 2005, he practiced dentistry there for two years, then moved to San Diego, CA. Prior to becoming licensed to practice dentistry in Florida, he completed a GPR residency in Puerto Rico, which is a very demanding general dentistry program, including advanced procedures such as dental implants, periodontal surgery, IV sedation, pediatric dentistry, and treatment of medically compromised patients with very delicate and severe medical conditions. With over a decade of clinical experience and advanced expertise in special procedures, Dr. Alverez Cuenod is exceptionally well prepared to provide the full range of preventive and restorative dental procedures. During his free time, Dr. Alvarez Cuenod enjoys spending time with his wife and children, the beach, music, and playing guitar.
