Miguel Sanchez, DDS

Dr. Miguel Sanchez is a Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon and proudly serves the Greater Tampa area. You will find that Dr. Sanchez has a calm and comfortable manner and is committed to a patient-centered approach to care using the latest techniques as part of your dental care. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Minnesota, he practiced as a General Dentist for two years, focusing on restorative and oral surgical procedures before pursuing specialty training. Afterward, he completed his post-doctoral training at a rigorous three-year residency in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Sanchez is a specialist in dental implant surgery, periodontal surgery, soft tissue gum grafting, bone grafting, and sinus augmentation. He is ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) certified and provides conscious sedation for the comfort of his patients. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons, and Florida Association of Periodontists, staying up-to-date with new advancements in dentistry. He has published research in the Journal of Periodontology, Journal of Craniomandibular and Sleep Practice, and Special Care in Dentistry.

When not at the office, he enjoys working out, trying local restaurants, and spending family time with his beautiful wife and 2-year-old toddler at Florida beaches or local parks.
