Malek Chahada, DMD, DDS
Growing up in a family of dentists shaped his views on the importance of quality patient care and the value of good oral hygiene. His first mentor was his father, Dr. Chahada, a prosthodontist and faculty member at Damascus University for 20 years. By sharing his experiences, Dr. Chahada first introduced Dr. Malek to the world of dentistry. Dentistry soon became a passion and lifelong learning journey, so it was no surprise when he attended Damascus University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
To further his education, Dr. Malek completed a prosthodontics training program for two years and the Implant Pathway advanced implant training. He also returned to school at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine to earn his degree in Dental Medicine.
Dr. Malek’s passions are not limited to dentistry; outside the office, he enjoys working out, hiking, and spending time with his wife and family.
Dr. Malek and his wife, Dr. Sarah Al Moussally, have been married for two years. They share a love for dentistry and pursued their dental careers together, graduating in the same class from Damascus University School of Dental Medicine and later from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
