Ramon Erbella Ocana, DMD

Dr. Ramon Erbella Ocana was born and raised in Guantanamo, Cuba, where he lived until the age of 25. He initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science but eventually realized that it wasn't the path he wanted to pursue for the rest of his life. His desire for something more fulfilling led him to dentistry. The lack of dental care in Cuba inspired Dr. Ramon to pursue a career in dentistry, with the goal of helping people improve their dental and general health, regardless of their conditions or social status.

He graduated from the University of Medical Sciences in Guantanamo in 2012. Shortly thereafter, he was selected by the Cuban government, along with a group of the most talented recent graduates, to participate in a medical mission in Venezuela. During this mission, he gained extensive knowledge and experience working in both public health services and private dental settings. Unlike in Cuba, Dr. Ramon had the opportunity to fully practice dentistry in Venezuela, which allowed him to further develop his skills in a clinical setting.

After completing his medical mission, Dr. Ramon was eager to continue his education and completed a residency at the Dental Clinic of San Rafael Del Mojan. He then pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD degree in 2023. Dr. Ramon's passion for dentistry stems from his deep commitment to his career, inspiring him to provide his patients with the best care and experiences possible.
